Growing up at my grandmother’s house there was always this warm smell of freshly baked cookies, pies, or cakes, which made me feel comfortable and at home. Upon this day I remember the hours I spent baking with her, my mother, and aunts and the joy it brought to my heart. I moved to the Staates from a city close to Stuttgart, Germany in 2011. I always talked about having a bakery and one day a Cafe, where you can experience the German Gemütlichkeit. And that is how it started. I founded the business in March of 2015 trading my careers to pursue this passion, which has been a part of my life since childhood and which I would like to share with the community. So far you can find us at the Leesburg Farmers Market and at local events, where we are well known for a selection of baked goods such as Strudel, Scones and Pretzels and in the Christmas time for our variety of European cookies, Gingerbread and Stollen.
