Well guys, that's a wrap. We have sold out! Last doughnut just went out the door. What an amazing last day with so much love. We appreciate you all. I'm choosing not to be sad but excited for what the next step is. Keep a look out for us!

Well, sadly, this will be our last menu post friends. We don't have large quantities of some products, due to trying to use up supplies and not buy more. Sadly, macarons didn't make the cut for the last day. We should have plenty of doughnuts to go around though! Coffee is on the house tomorrow. Thank you all so much for supporting us and helping me learn and grow as a baker and decorator. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and having the chance to say see ya later.

Ok. I know this seems very abrupt. This is hard. Very hard. I've tried to push since February through sheer stubbornness and hope that we had something truly amazing and it would work. We do have something amazing, however, it isn't going to work this way. Our customers are absolutely amazing and I cannot tell you all how much I sincerely will miss you. I've made friends with you. Some almost like family. We will not be open this Saturday. Next Saturday will be our only day open and our last day. I'm going to try to make it a good one. We hope to see as many of our wonderful customers as possible. The Tasty Crumb is not done. We will be trying to find a new way to offer our treats, but on a smaller scale in a different form. So feel free to keep following us on facebook. We did not fail. We succeeded beyond my expectations and I would like to thank you all personally for the support.

For the love of baking

I started my love of baking at the kitchen table, making a cherry pie with my Gramma. Although this pie ended in a disaster on the floor, my memories of the love and happiness of baking with my Gramma began. Raised in a home that was a bed and breakfast, run by my mom, I also saw how friendships were formed over a plate of breakfast bread, blueberry kuchen, and pastries. Now, these experiences I am passing on to my 5 lovely daughters with the support of my wonderful husband and large family. Every product I bake is made with love and sincere appreciation for the person or people I am baking it for. I look forward to, not just establishing a customer relationship, but serving as your happy memory maker and being part of many friendships formed.
