Baking with Pampered Chef
I started out with an at-home bakery, making goodies for a friend that owns a coffee shop/bookstore, and people that live locally. Then I decided that I would love to bake full time, and maybe even open my own bakery! Unvortunately, I didn’t have the time. Financially, I’m not ready to quit my full time job, so I needed to find something to help earn money while I work on balancing the financial aspect of my Plan.
Just at that time, a friend of mine had an online Pampered Chef party. With Covid-19, and self distancing going on in the world today, the old PC parties that I’m accustomed to, where someone comes into your home and cooks for your friends, has gone by the wayside. This was PERFECT for me! I have always loved Pampered Chef products, but never wanted to become a consultant, because I’m very uncomfortable going into strangers’ homes! Finally, technology has brought me a way to work with a company I love, using their amazing products in conjunction with my baking business, and be able to go to all of my friends and family (and their friends and family) from my very own Comfort Zone. Even better, Pampered Chef is a company that is so well known and loved by everyone, that the products basically sell themself!
So, I scheduled my own Virtual Pampered Chef party, and invited everyone I could think of. The worst they could do was say no, right? The party was a HUGE success, and we managed to sell $1,400 worth of product in an online, 1 week long party!! At the end of the week, I signed up to become a consultant, and do my own parties for friends and family for a commission. I don’t expect every party to go as well as that one did, but I have an exciting new way to help build me towards my goal of a Brick and Mortar store, and possibly one day, have a corner full of Pampered Chef items there as well!
