I LOVE that I was able to make this cake for our friends’ daughter graduating from MHS and going to UTA to study photo journalism. I’ve always wanted to make a camera cake. 📷 I enjoyed working on the tiny details and trying to make it just like her camera. It is cake - not rice krispie treats - I’m very proud of that. 😁She also plays bass guitar so I made a mini replica of her guitar. It is made out of gum paste and is hand painted. Congratulations, Alexis!!!! 5-25-19

I entered my first cake decorating contest last weekend. It was for Camp Gladiator’s 10th Birthday Celebration. I won 1st place. ☺️ I really enjoyed taking my time with the tiny details like the workout board, cones, dumbells and jump ropes. All the equipment was hand made and the black tier is a tire! CG campers LOVE flippin’ tires!!!

Royal blue and white marbled buttercream with subtle silver touches. The top tier is red velvet and the bottom is yellow. Hand made gum paste flowers with silver centers. Topped with a sparkly Happy Birthday cake topper perfect for a young lady turning 21. I hope she was surprised and that she liked her cake. 8/4/18

I’m so glad I said yes to making these cakes. I LOVE how they turned out! I wasn’t asked to make Pua the Pig and Hei Hei the Rooster, but I just think they add a fun and special little touch to baby’s smash cake. I enjoy taking the time for little details. Moana’s skirt has textured fondant with hand painted designs.

Isabella requested a Monopoly cake for her birthday party. “Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll help.” And she did. She tinted fondant, rolled, cut, molded, and hand painted tiny details on her favorite Monopoly properties and, of course, her favorite game piece - the thimble. I wouldn’t trade the memories we made for anything in the world. My heart is full. I love you, Isabella. Happy Early 14th Birthday!!!

Fun Ms Pac Man cake to celebrate Melissa’s 50th birthday. Her husband bought her an old-school Ms Pac Man arcade game with 60 games on it since she was addicted to Ms Pac Man growing up. It even has Galaga - my personal addiction. 😉 5/23/18
