I am pretty sure the cookies gods are Pats fans, because whew nothing went right getting these Seahawks cookies ready to post. They still arent 100% right because one cutter is lost in the mail, one got lost upon arrival and the colors arent quite right. Let's call this practice for the big one. You can order perfect cookies for your watch party. The cookies are small, not mini, but not my regular full size, making them perfect for a day filled with yummy food. Pick up on Saturday. I tried something a little different this year. Usually I block out time for all holidays in my order schedule so I can offer holiday cookies. This year, I decided to first fill my schedule with custom orders and then offer holiday cookies if I had extra time. I have always felt bad saying no to people who have birthdays or other events around holidays because I had set aside that time. This year I was able to say yes to just about everyone. So instead of Christmas cookies this year, I did multiple birthday sets, like this frosty pink Winter Onederland set.

I make so many types of cookies, but it wouldn't be Christmas at our house without these buttercream decorated cookies. This is how my cookie decorating started. Every year my son and I would decorate sugar cookies for Christmas. No matter what other cookies I bake or decorate for Christmas, these always get done. Even if we don't get to it beforehand, we always make time on Christmas day to decorate together as a family. Its one of my favorite traditions.

As many of you know, cookies are a side gig. My day job has been extremely stressful and unpredictable this year. It's kept me from committing to holiday cookies all year, instead focusing exclusively on custom orders. I have barely had time to post the cookies I have done.

I had planned to try to offer some Christmas cookie boxes next week, but I just don't have the energy. I am going to take the next couple weeks to rest and recharge during my favorite time of year. I just need it this year.

I appreciate all the support and everyone who wants to include my cookies as part of your holidays and celebrations. I just need a break after the last two really difficult years. I will be back baking spirits bright again in the new year. See you in 2026.

When a little guy just loves all kinds of balls, he has a sports ball birthday and gets all the balls cookies! I love it when a party is all about what a kiddo loves.
