Hey everyone, I know it’s a been a long time and I have a huge ask.

Some of you may remember me posting about running the New York Marathon in November. I entered the marathon through a charity and am now fundraising for an organization that supports and encourages fitness in children around the country. My goal is $3000 and i have just a bit more to reach that target.

I have celebrated so many birthdays with you all that I’m asking you to celebrate my birthday this week with me. In honor of my 45th birthday I am asking you to consider donating to this charity, any amount, no matter how small gets me closer to this goal.

I know the bakery has closed, but would anyone be interested in doing a cake decorating class if I can secure a location? I’m in full NYC marathon fundraising mode and running ideas through my brain again.

It’s officially over, the last cake has gone out the door. Things have been up in the air for the past several weeks, with some back and forth changes, but early this week, it became an absolute. The bakery is officially closed. While we love seeing all these cakes come to life and are honored each time someone chooses us, when they have so many options, it’s time to close this chapter and move on to the next thing. I’m sure the tears will come as we pack up and move out next week (or even as I try to type this) but so many good memories and laughs have happened along the way and made it all so worth it.

I’m sure I will post again once everything is moved out and the change has sunk in. But I wanted to let everyone know what was happening at Cake Bliss.

Hey everyone! It’s been really quiet over here as we try to figure out next steps for us, but in the mean time I’ve been busy working on a personal goal and I hope you don’t mind me sharing!

I am running the NYC marathon in November with the charity Team For Kids. To do this, I agreed to fundraise for them, and plan to do some treats to help me reach my goal.

So….I’m taking suggestions, what would you be interested in seeing me offer from the bakery as a form of fundraising? This is your chance, do you want cookies, cinnamon rolls, cake slices? Let me know! Most popular ideas will be the next fundraiser that I do, but also your chance to still get goodies until final plans are made.

Also, in the meantime, you can donate if you feel inclined to do so.

There are three mixed dozen cupcakes up for grabs, $15 for a dozen. Let me know if you want one, first to claim gets them. But…. I will be at the bakery at 1:00, that is the ONLY time they are available for pickup.

Morning everyone! It’s walk in day!!! Just jumping on to say a few things! First, thank you to everyone that showed up yesterday, I didn’t get to see you all, but I did hear so many of you saying that you were coming out to show support for our last few days ❤️.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone that gave us grace and showed patience, everything wasn’t in the case and ready at opening time and I appreciate y’all waiting and being kind, especially to my sister who cut her teacher spring break short to help out and run the register, even though she had no proper training 😝

For today, we will open at 4:00 (not 3:00 as previously posted) and will close at 7:00. Hopefully this extra hour will give us the time that we need to get everything out. As a just in case, we are working the fastest that we can, and really try to get everything in the case at opening, but sometimes it’s just not physically possible, even with all hands on deck, so we hope you understand.

And…..if you read this far…..Surprise….for those of you that have asked and asked, my major goal for today is to get cinnamon rolls in the case, just know that once they are gone, that’s it, so hopefully you time it right to get one!

Lastly, and I will probably reiterate this later today, y’all have no idea the impact that each of you have made on my life, this has been a dream of mine and even though we are moving on from this chapter, I view this as a huge success. I haven’t loved every minute, because it has been a hard journey for sure, but I have appreciated each and every single person that has chosen us to be apart of their special events ❤️
