Ladies night in 2 weeks is going to be EPIC!!

👀 Guys, we rented the Pop up Shop (old gas station) for a chunk of time, and while we will be turning part of it in to a full on 🍬 🍭 CANDY STORE 🍬 🍫 , (more on that later), we will be hosting events and classes for the duration of the time we have the space.

🎨 September 19 from 5 to 7 will be our first 🖌 PAINT & ☕️SIP! (Non alcoholic drinks) You'll upcycle thrifted art and turn it in to Halloween decor! 🎃

Drinks and charcuterie will be provided. Your first art project is paid for with your admission, and if you'd like to buy more thrifted art, I'll have lots more to choose from! Paint, ribbon, glue, jewels... you'll have plenty of inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.

We met the most Bad-Ass woman last week: Susanne (trail name BlueMoon). She was hiking solo from Mexico to Canada, and happened to spend some time on the Centennial trail. Had meant to hike the PCT, but wildfires rerouted all the hikers. She came in, grabbed a sausage pastry, and was so easy going as we peppered her with questions.

What an inspiration! She started doing theses long hikes 3 years ago. At age 60!! We were lapping up her stories and her wisdom, but had to send her on her way. Happy Trails, Blue Moon.

Last night was the 4th Friday, so it was the night market downtown Arlington. Heather, the owner of Jax-e Blue, came down to the bakery as part of the flower walk. She was just delightful and I'm glad to have a new friend! But, more importantly, a new place to shop. 😅

Classes are so fun at the bakery! Take a look and sign up for a September or October class. Next Thursday, kids and teens will be making cake pops! Come join the fun!
