First of the Season fresh Basil, chives, oregano, rosemary, parsley and thyme from my herb garden! Made into Jalapeño Pecan Pesto! I got 12 packages out of my first harvest! It turned out perfect, just the right amount of heat. I see Pesto Sourdough Bread popping up this week!

One of this week’s challenges. The same boy who challenged me to make this Star Wars cake at 5 years old is celebrating his 16th birthday before he goes to Germany. His tastes have been elevated and expectations even greater. We decided that an authentic German cake was the way to go. Wish me luck! There are 3 different recipes inside to complete this cake and the recipe is 27 pages long when printed!🤪! If this turns out, I will definitely have reached the stage of a Pastry Chef! Voilà
