Some moments deserve more than "happy birthday" written in icing. 🎂✨

Our custom photo cakes turn your favorite memory into the centerpiece of the celebration — a printed photo, a logo, artwork, anything you can dream up — baked fresh and made edible right here in Fort Worth. Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, big family reunions… if it's worth celebrating, it's worth a cake that stops the whole room.

Two generations of our family have been making DFW's sweetest memories, one cake at a time. Send us your photo and let's make it delicious. 💛

We’ve been keeping a delicious little secret… ☕🥪🍲

As we head into the holiday weekend, we’re thrilled to announce that That’s The Cake Bakery is becoming That’s The Cake Bakery + Cafe!

Along with the cakes and sweets you already love, we’re adding freshly brewed coffee, homemade hot and cold café sandwiches—including Nancy’s Chicken Salad—plus soups, salads, and more!

We’re currently putting the finishing touches on everything, and we are absolutely STOKED to bring these new additions to our bakery!

You may also notice some exciting changes to our online store. We’re refreshing our offerings and adjusting select ordering times to make it easier—and faster—to order your favorites.

Now we want to hear from you! What would you love to see at the new café? Extended hours? A certain sweet treat? A savory sandwich you can’t resist? Let us know in the comments! 💕

It can be incredibly hard—and honestly discouraging—to feel like no matter how hard you try, you simply can’t make everyone happy.

It’s become so easy to post a negative rating or review online without first reaching out to the business. Unfortunately, those posts often share only one side of the story and can have a lasting impact on a small, family-owned business like ours.

If you’ve had a great experience with That’s The Cake, we could truly use your support today. Please consider leaving us a positive review—it would mean more to our family and team than you may realize.

If your experience was less than perfect, please email us directly and give us the opportunity to listen, understand what happened, and make things right. We’re human, mistakes can happen, but we genuinely care and want the chance to help.

Kindness, communication, and support go such a long way—especially for small businesses. We could really use a little of that today. ❤️
