Wedding cake for our daughter’s wedding! Not quite up to par with the inspo pic. Wish I would nail it just once. It turned out pretty, just not as pretty as it was going to be in my mind’s eye.

Noni: I can do that!

I hadn’t done a candy melt transfer in many years and it took a bit to get the Spot right. I had forgotten about that technique. And it was fun to use all that glitter sugar!

Forgot to post a recent birthday cake I did. Forgot? Well truth is it wasn’t up to par. Who knew making a spherical cake and covering it with fondant would be so hard!? You don’t know what you don’t know! I am not sure I learned anything in the process except I still don’t know.

Very FUN cake to make for one of our granddaughters turning two!!
Spent time all week in the evenings making the fondant pieces. The inside is a rainbow cake with each layer a different color - hence the very tallness of the cake! (I didn't get a picture of the inside of the cake!)
