Lots of life happenings up on the hill as of late.
~ Idgy tried to jump the fence and missed; and is now the ICU patient (in the garage - she only got 1 night in the house...)
~ It's almost corn silage time, so the chopping crew is getting antsy.
~ Sam moves into her dorm room this coming Saturday.
~ We sisters and extended family are laying to rest our dad/brother/uncle/grandpa this week.

With all of that said, please accept our apology for skipping out again on market this weekend. It's been a very long 4 days and will continue to be a long "sleep fast" kind of week. We'll see you all next weekend. 🥰

Our to-do list is getting out of control...
Thus, we'll be staying home this weekend to try and play catch-up on it.
I'm sure there will be goat snuggling, swearing at goats, building fence to attempt to keep goats in, laundry, house stuff, more cussing at Idgy because she's somewhere she shouldn't be... Lately she's discovered the pear tree. Holy hell! 👀 Immajean Louise Threadgoode can hock pears faster than a duck on a june bug!
With that, we'll see you all next weekend. Hopefully with some better behaved baby goats in tow for our annual goat gathering!

Looking forward to seeing all of you this weekend!!

~ For those of you who tried the Bery Swirl Rolls last week - what did you think? For those of you that didn't; they are filled with homemade blueberry, strawberry and raspberry fruit filling - No corn syrup - No preservative. We've been enjoying this type of "jam" on our bread (from Sunny Side Down) for years now. We hope you enjoyed it this way!

It's been busy up here on the hill!

Bindy had one, but is raising three.
It's been so damn hot lately that babies are legit melting into cuteness puddles as they sleep.
Idgy has a sister! Little NomNom was the NICU patient over the weekend. She was selenium deficient and couldn't get her legs or neck to listen to her brain. Many areas of WI are selenium deficient, and baby goats are highly susceptible that and Vitamin E deficiencies at birth. (If not corrected early, they can perish quickly).
EAA at Oshkosh? Amazing! We geeked out at the Boeing Plaza and WarBird area. The plane pictured is like a cargo ship that flies. Huge!!
And those friends we visited? Yeah... already miss them again... 2 1/2 years is far too long to take the time to make that drive. 🥰

Cookie had triplets about 3:30 today! 2 little bucklings and 1 doeling. So far, everyone else is a boy.

We wouldn't have the business we have today without all of you supporting us!
We won't be at any markets this weekend, as we're slipping away to experience the EAA show for the first time and visit some friends we haven't seen in 2 1/2 years.
Stay safe with the weather changes and we'll see all y'all next weekend! (Hopefully we'll have some new 4 legged kids and calves by then to show off!)
