I had a wonderful opportunity to teach a cookie decorating class to 16 kids at the Juvenile Detention Center in Denton yesterday. They were so appreciative, attentive and cared about what they were doing. Most of them had never done anything like that before. Some were shocked that I would volunteer to do it and for free. Their gratitude was so unexpected, and I needed that more than I knew!
