Important Update!
Emmy Cakes is a family business. Everything is made with love, by me (Jessica), in our home kitchen. We have worked so hard, days and nights, all the weekends and holidays and strived incredibly hard to serve our customers well. We have put countless hours into developing the most delicious cakes possible, with unmatched taste and texture. We have invested and sacrificed and strived and done our best. We have enjoyed being creative, learning new skills and techniques, and bringing you all extra joy on your special days.
In these two years while growing this business, we have also been going through very difficult challenges to our physical and mental health. We have seen surgeries, diagnoses, hospital stays, Dr appointments, you name it. These couple years have kicked our butts! Most recently, a member of our family was diagnosed with Celiac disease. We feel, for safety and health, it is best not to bake our wheat flour recipes in our home kitchen.
We will not be taking more orders for our traditional recipes at this time. In the future, we may pivot to gluten-free only offerings. Or we may find a different kitchen to continue our usual. But for now we are taking a pause to focus on health and family.
If you have already paid a deposit or in full, we will honor and fill your order as planned.
It's difficult to express just how much we appreciate you all, and the way you've supported our dream, our family. Thank you.
