While I’ve been recovering from my thumb tendon damage, I was still able to do some some batch baking for the Carter County fair. I entered my potato sourdough bread that y’all love so much, as well as my pecan pie and other items. I’m blessed to say I won first place in all but one entry and the pecan pie won Champion over baked goods in the adult open class. Plus, the sourdough won champion in the Best of Wheat contest and will be headed to the state competition in 2 weeks! Wish me luck!
