If you love good coffee and good sourdough, make sure you check out this new coffee sourdough with maple and dates! Made with coffee, the loaf has a true coffee flavor, with just a hint of sweetness. I got the flavor idea from a reddit post that mentioned using this flavor combo to make French toast 😲😍 Just saying in case you need an idea!

Thank you, very much, to everyone who stopped by the Farmer's Market this past weekend! I came home with just one loaf of jalapeno cheddar sourdough, which we toasted to eat with tomato soup for a quick and easy dinner tonight. Perfection 👌

Despite what SEEMED like slightly slower foot traffic on Saturday, it was a record-breaker for most loaves of sourdough sold in a day, most loaves of focaccia sold in a day, and my highest single day of sales since starting my business in 2024 ☺️ I'm baking pretty close to my personal capacity... but by specific request, some browned butter sourdough chocolate chip cookies might make their way onto the table next weekend.... 👀 Make sure you stop by!

The has one of the coolest curated museum experiences I've seen in a long time. Of course, I was drawn in particular to the live ingredient exhibits since bread (wheat grain, water, yeast, salt) shares so much in common with the ingredients with Guinness (barley grain, water, yeast, hops)! Definitely worth a visit (even if you're not a beer drinker) if you ever have the opportunity!

Unfortunately for me, my trip is inching closer to the end - but fortunately for YOU, it means I'll be back in the Bakery before you know it! Hope to see you soon!

Our tour stopped at the nicest rest area I think I've ever been to today, in between Gretna Green and Liverpool. It was basically a farmers market AND A BAKERY YOU GUYS!!!

They had some of the most beautiful focaccia I've seen here... 😍 And yes, count on me to take photo evidence LOL. This makes me so excited to get back to the kitchen and make my own again!

OK, tell me if you've heard this one... I'm traveling 🤣

Trent and I are kicking off our summer in London (with Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Dublin to follow), and of course I spent our first day running from one bakery window to the next... silly me, but I had no idea that the streets would be lined with beautiful bakeries and patisserie! In the train station, there was a Japanese patisserie next to an empanada bakery next to a sourdough bakery next to a bagel place next to a foccaeria... cookies were across the aisle, a Cafe bakery on the end cap... I could go on 😅

I'm sad to miss the opening weeks at but so excited to bring lots of baking inspiration home with me!
