She picked the flowers, I piped the memories 🌸

Another memory to celebrate this week.

My client asked for her favorite flowers: golden and orange mums, blush roses, lavender daisies, and little succulents, all gathered into one buttercream crown.

Every petal is handmade. This is Memories, made just for her.

Something new is blooming at Amp’s Bouqcakes! 🌸

Introducing Amp’s Bouqcakes Academy, my new project dedicated to teaching kids the art of buttercream flower piping. 💐

For years, you’ve trusted me to create buttercream bouquets for your birthdays, holidays, and special moments. So many of you have asked, “Can you teach my kids?” Now I can!
The Academy is where I pass these skills on to the next generation of little artists.

🍂 Our November class: the Autumn Heirloom Workshop 🍂
Buttercream Piping for Kids, Ages 7–14

In 2.5 hours, your child will learn to hold and control a piping bag, pipe buttercream flowers and leaves, blend colors, and arrange 7 cupcakes into a beautiful bouquet to take home, just in time for your Thanksgiving table. 🌻

These aren’t just cupcakes. They’re lifetime skills: patience, creativity, steady hands, and the pride of saying “I made this myself.”

💛 And the best part? One favorite grown-up comes along at no extra cost. This isn’t a drop-off class. It’s a memory you make together.

📅 Choose one: Saturday, Nov 14 or Saturday, Nov 21

⏰ 1:30–4:00 PM

📍 Yellow Bird Studio South, 3347 S Westshore Blvd #1,

It’s been a while since I’ve shared one of my creations here…

So I thought this beautiful wedding cake deserved to bring a little life back to my page.

There is something incredibly special about wedding cakes. Every detail is created with intention, from the delicate buttercream flowers to the final finishing touches all made by hand for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

I’ve been a little quiet on social media, but definitely not quiet in the kitchen.

Still creating. Still learning. Still growing. And still completely in love with turning buttercream into flowers.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple, and thank you for allowing Amp’s Bouqcakes to be a small part of such a special day. 🥂

More beautiful creations are coming…
