Busy times… I posted this Saturday night on my personal page… since then, Poppi will cry if left alone so I’ve been spending a ton of time with her… she is an absolute sweetheart🩵

What a night! Gray called me Thursday from work letting me know that a kitten had been found at the New Bern, Bosch warehouse… the Pet Distribution System got me again.
Gray and Caleb came to town yesterday morning to bring me my new furbaby🥰
A very long adventure took place late into the night that required Gray and Caleb to come back over around 8:30 PM to help because I could not locate Poppi (they had been at a birthday celebration.) Gray came up with the idea of playing cat meows on her phone to see if my new fluff would respond… pretty genius; we finally heard a muffled meow!! My HEAVY furniture was taken apart…….

I believe the kids got back home to New Bern around 1:30 in the morning.

Today was a gloriously hot day here in North Carolina!!! Yes, I am so grateful for the warm weather!!! Never will anyone hear me complain about the heat 😎☀️

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
I managed to take Saturday off and visited my daughter, her fiancé, and my spunky  grand kitty, Kiwi, in New Bern, NC. Sunday, I enjoyed some much-needed time by the pool and also completed things around the house. We had dinner with Gray's fiancé's family in Greenville, followed by a drive through ECU's campus; I hadn't been back in years 🌹
On a sidenote, I was sad to see that the beautiful magnolia tree in front of the sorority house is no longer.
