I’ve been asked numerous times “what got you into baking cheesecakes”?
Here’s my story:
My only child, Tanisha passed of cancer will be 4 years coming August 29. One day as I sat here sobbing she came to me and said mom we’re gonna bake to which I said I DONT WANT TO BAKE, I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!
She said we are going to make a cheesecake. I had never ever baked a cheesecake. She was the awesome baker and cook. So I went to Walmart and got the tools I would need. After the first cheesecake she came to me with all these wild ingredients and so began my love for baking cheesecakes. I think she chose cheesecakes because I’m not a real fan of them, keeps me from eating every new creation.
So each time I bake a cheesecake she is right here beside me, encouraging me and whispers everything will be ok. We will see each other again.
I feel very blessed that she got me up and living again.

You can freeze by slicing into single servings and wrap tightly in Saran Wrap. Once the slices are frozen, wrap in foil and then place frozen slices in a freezer bag.

*Each time you use it, then you add a little more vodka. Trade out the vanilla beans in six months. Vanilla beans can be purchased on Amazon.
