OPEN Thurs-Fri, 7-11am, Sat, 8am-Noon What do you want to be when you grow up? I kept putting it off thinking I would take the leap to open a bakery/coffee shop when I get older. One day, not so long ago, I woke up and realized - I'm older. So I decided to take the leap. I have been sharing my baked goods with friends and family all around town for the past 25 years so a lo

t of you know that baking is my favorite thing to do - it is my form of therapy! Nothing fancy, no beautifully decorated cakes or cupcakes, or fancy tarts. What I do have is old fashioned delicious goodness with real sugar, real butter, fresh fruit and other good things mixed together to hopefully make you want to come back for more. My menu will vary as I get bored making the same thing over and over again but I will post what I'm making the day before on my page so you can be prepared to dream about what you will have for breakfast the next morning. I am also open to suggestions. If you have something you love that makes you happy and it contains sugar I would be happy to try to find a recipe and attempt to make it better then you imagined. I will have top of the line coffee which will be freshly ground in the morning (long before you stop in for your morning brew) and amazing cold brew coffee to pour over ice if you prefer cold over hot. Hot tea will also be available. Thank you for your support of my dream. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

It’s midnight - the start of a new day. Happy 13th Anniversary my TP! How I wish you were here! Life is so different without you with me. The quiet is deafening. You are a constant in my every day. They say life goes on but I’m not sure I agree. Mine feels as though part of me moves forward each day and part of me is lost, searching for you. It’s quite the conundrum. I am so lucky to have each and every memory we made - THANK YOU! Until we meet again TP, I will forever dance with you in my dreams. I love you ❤️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! You would have turned 97 today. It’s hard to believe you and mom have been gone for 7 years. You absolutely LOVED Birthdays. Not just yours, everyone’s!! This morning Heather Kelley summed up who you were in 3 words - YOU WERE LOVE! You loved your family, people, community, and life -and shared your love with everyone. Always upbeat, positive, and happy. We are so thankful to have had you in our lives!! Hope you’re celebrating with Mom, Jeff, and Tom and maybe enjoying a parade too!

We were sad to see the fire at the Corvette Grille this morning and very thankful no one was hurt. A HUGE THANK YOU to every Fireman/woman, all the Fire Company’s, and EMT’s who volunteer to be on call at all hours of the day and night and put the work in to be trained to know how to control fires, preventing them from spreading and doing more damage, and caring for anyone that may need medical attention.
Fire companies are in need of volunteers and our communities need our Fire Companies. When you get a donation request in the mail or see them doing a boot drive consider making a donation in the hope you never need them but know you supported them if you do. You can also contact them and ask what supplies they may need and drop donations off or order online and have things sent directly to them.
THANK YOU TO EVERY VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY, FIRE FIGHTER, EMT & FIRE POLICE ❤️

WHERE ARE ALL THESE WEEDS COMING FROM THIS YEAR? Every day and sometimes at night, whenever I take my pups out, I have committed to pulling weeds as I walk them around the yard. I have to say, it’s getting old!! Does anyone else pull weeds at 4:30am or 10:00pm or is it just me?
The good news is the Bakery weeds seem to be a little less invasive and the patio is dotted with lots of flowers and ready to be enjoyed. When you stop in be sure to check out our patio, grab a seat and enjoy delicious Cleona Coffee Roasters Coffee and some homemade baked goodness.
If I’m not at the Bakery I’m probably heading home to take my pups out and pull some more weeds.

TODAY WE DID THIS THING - We hopped on a train to NYC to see Mariska Hargitay in the Broadway Show EVERY BRILLIANT THING. It was absolutely wonderful. Love spending a day in New York City but always happy to get back home to the slower pace and cleaner air.
So we are heading back to reality and I’ll be back in the Bakery bright and early. DON’T FORGET - THIS MONDAY, MEMORIAL DAY the Annville American Legion Post 559 will continue to Honor and Remember our fallen in a Memorial Day Service at Mt. Annville Cemetery, N. on Rt.934. How wonderful it would be for the residents of Annville to take the time Monday morning to remember those who gave all so we can spend time with our family and friends this weekend knowing we took the time to remember (and teach our children) the meaning of Memorial Day.
