Where have I been?! Let me tell you about that- new job, new house, baseball, football, karate, can a girl get a second to breathe? Ultimately I couldn’t resist the pull of fall flavors! Luckily, I have a work family to bake for now and That couldn’t make me any more happy! Yesterday’s treats included the same-recipe-since-home-ec pumpkin roll and a pumpkin/banana cake with vanilla glaze and candied pecans.

Working on an order of lemon treats today and I used the juice and the zest for my bars, but not to be outdone I boiled the rest of it to give the house a lovely lemon scent and clear out the negative energy.

It was a sugar overload this weekend for my little guys 6th birthday! Needless to say the kids were not disappointed 🙂
