📢 FOUND: One Slightly Abandoned Wallet

A wallet believed to belong to Gage has been hanging around the Coop looking confused and asking where its owner went.

At first it was hopeful.
Then it got concerned.
Now it's mostly disappointed.

It keeps saying things like:
"I carried his money."
"I held his driver's license."
"I was there for him every day."
"And this is how he repays me?"

Gage, your wallet would like to speak with you regarding trust issues and abandonment.

Please come pick it up before it starts a support group with all the lost sunglasses and random toys left behind at the Coop.

POWER IS BACK ON! BACK IN BIZ!

⚡ COOP UPDATE ⚡

It appears someone unplugged Annawan.

The power is currently out at the Coop, which means our ice cream freezers,lights, and registers are all taking an unscheduled break.

Brett briefly considered hooking a team of chickens to a treadmill to generate electricity, but early testing results were disappointing.

For now, we're waiting on the power to return and hoping the electric company wins this game of hide-and-seek soon.

The building is still here. Our sense of humor is still intact.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we're back up and running.

We can sell baked goods Cash only while power is out.

Well folks... someone's credit card is currently enjoying an extended vacation at The Coop.

We've given it ice cream. We've shown it the Roost. We've introduced it to the chickens. At this point it's basically part of the staff.

If your name is Tammie, or you know a Tammie who suddenly can't figure out where her card is, tell her we have it safe and sound.

If it isn't claimed soon, we're putting it on dish duty and making it help clean up melted Superman ice cream.

🚨 Weekend Warning from the Coop 🚨

Doctors don't recommend this.
Nutritionists probably won't either.

But if you happen to find yourself staring at a warm Peanut Butter & Jelly Sundae dripping with peanut butter sauce... or a Pirate's Bounty Sundae loaded with brownies, Oreos, caramel, fudge, and enough treasure to make a pirate retire...
..well, we're not here to judge.

Add in fresh cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls with that famous buttercream swirl, and enough ice cream to make your diet file a missing persons report, and you've got yourself a pretty solid weekend.

So grab the family, pile in the car, and come see why people keep driving past perfectly good desserts to come to a little chicken coop in Annawan.

We'll be here. The ice cream is cold. And your self-control is on its own.

The Coop crew is officially full again!

We just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who applied, shared the post, messaged us, or wanted to be part of the chaos here at Paxtons Corner Coop. Seriously, the support means a lot to our little red building in Annawan. ❤️

After reviewing applications, interviewing, overthinking, rethinking, stress eating ice cream, and probably consuming an unhealthy amount of caffeine… our positions have officially been filled. 🙌

To everyone who applied and didn’t get picked this round — please don’t take it personally. We had a ton of great people apply, and honestly that makes choosing hard.

Now… back to making ridiculous sundaes, serving ice cream, and pretending we know what we’re doing. 🍒😂
