Our Director of R&D has chosen the whole wheat turkey which is coming home with her this year! It's currently T minus just < 2hrs till close of business for the holiday, and we still have several Turkeys sitting on our shelf waiting to be adopted. Won't YOU give a good home to one of these special birds?!? (And by that, we mean give them a good home until they get eaten tomorrow, of course ... but shhh! That's our little secret!)

At Great Harvest Annapolis, we love people, we love bread, and we REALLY love when bread brings people together!
A long, long time ago, Tiana, our manager, took a job working early morning at this tiny neighborhood bakery. Not long thereafter, Krista also began working there, for Linda & Jim Rodrock, the original owners. Little did these ladies know that the bond formed there would grow into being each others' best friends for nearly two decades!
And so, to celebrate life and bread made with love and being kind and generous and never knowing where life can take you and helping others and being loose and having fun ... a few pics capturing our Director of R&D (Tiana's daughter, Shayleigh) goofing around with her Auntie Krista, who is back at the shop to help us through the busiest week of our whole year!
We consider it a privilege to provide our community with wholesome breads, delicious treats, AND a genuinely cool, fun team with a stong focus on exceptional customer service. Thank you for supporting us!

IT'S A TASTY TURKEY TAKEOVER!!!!
As you can see, the turkeys have flown in once again this year. We're open today (Monday), Tuesday, and Wednesday this week from 6am-4pm. We are no longer accepting reserve orders. If you would love to have a Pleasingly Palatable Poultry of your own, come to the bakery before they all fly off the shelves!

We are very proud to carry products from ! These jars of goodness get along deliciously with our breads. Our manager, Tiana, is partial to Agriblend Jam on a toasted slice of Dakota Bread. Tiana's daughter Shayleigh, aka our Director of R&D, enjoys the Blackberry Jam in a PB&J on Challah or Light Wheat!
We love being in partnership with businesses who turn out great products AND with whom we feel proud to work. is family owned and operated, fairly local, run a popular CSA, and they grow the fruit for their jams themselves! How cool is that?

Food pantry donations were up this week! Thanks in particular to members of St. Anne's Episcopal Church - Annapolis Maryland, and to Great Harvest Annapolis for their support. Yesterday, thanks to the generous donation of an Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) teacher, Rob Levit, Creating Communities, and all the business owners and families who rose to the occasion, we were able to deliver hot meals from chef Frederik De Pue and bountiful bags of groceries to 125 families. They were so incredibly grateful. We handed hot meals to mamas who literally started tearing up and their little ones who had smiles as big as the universe. Next week the little West Annapolis Pop Up Pantry is doubling down for these folks. Italia Annapolis will make hot spaghetti and meatball meals for 100 children. Graul's Market-Annapolis & Cape St. Claire will donate a little Dessert treat and Great Harvest Annapolis will provide wholesome bread.
