💗 HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE 💗

One of our own Naval Bagels family members was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will soon be starting chemotherapy. We’re coming together as a team and community to show her just how loved and supported she is.

We’re giving away a $250 Naval Bagels gift card, and entry is completely FREE! Donations are completely optional, but if you’d like to contribute, any amount would mean so much and will go directly toward supporting her. 💕

The raffle will run through October 1st, when we’ll present her with the donation in honor of the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️🩷

Early this morning, AACoFD received a 911 call reporting that a chocolate lab was stuck on Luce Creek, which had iced over due to the cold temps. Crews from and responded to the area and located the dog. AFD, Squad 38, and Truck 39 carefully deployed onto the frozen surface and safely rescued the dog utilizing a Stokes basket. This rescue is a reminder that our crews are always ready for every member of our community, even our four-legged ones. 🐾🐶.
⚠️ Safety Reminder: Ice on area waterways is dangerously thin. We urge children and adults to STAY OFF ice-covered water. Keep pets on a leash near icy water and immediately call 911 if a person or pet falls through the ice. Do not attempt to rescue on your own.

If Edgewater does open, we’ll be offering sandwiches on bread, wraps, or croissants only — no bagels for purchase.
