I am so thankful to have amazing, understanding customers!!

Quality is something I take seriously.
I hold gourmet treats to a higher standard than most folks. If something isn't right, I own it and reach out. Well, that happened this past weekend.

The crust on the pumpkin cheesecake did not do its 'thang. Too much butter made it a sad, soggy mess. The actual cheesecake was baked to perfection but we've gotta have a good base. 🤌

A look into the bake:
Cheesecakes require enough butter in the crust to hold everything together and not a drop more, lol. They are finicky like that!
Whole 9 inch cheesecakes bake low and slow for about 3 hours and then they've got to cool before the chilling process happens. Visually inspecting the crust doesn't happen until hours after its come out of the oven, as the ring holds it in place.

I did a quick supply run and re-baked.
So. Much. Better.
The quality I expect from my bakes.

Thank you to my customers for being understanding and allowing me to remedy this. So many folks are quick to trash businesses on Facebook that it's a real worry, nowadays.

It turns out the pain I've been dealing with is a groin strain and sciatica. Fun times! Going to rest and watch it, so I will not be taking orders this weekend. I will open up an epic menu for the following weekend, though!!

Pumpkin is back!! 🎃
Luscious pumpkin cheesecake sits atop a buttery biscoff crust. Topped with housemade whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

I have a new creation I'm calling Slightly Strawberry. 🍓 The cheesecake base is a subtle Strawberry flavor and is topped with strawberry glaze and housemade whipped cream. No artificial dyes or flavoring, just real berries.

$10 each for these bad boys.
Pick-up is in the Tara farms neighborhood of Anna.
