When we first opened our doors here in Anna Maria, we had a simple dream: to serve delicious food, create a warm and welcoming space, and become a small part of this beautiful island’s story. Five years later, we are looking back with hearts full of nothing but pure gratitude.

To our incredible team, past and present, thank you for your passion, your hard work, and for bringing your best self to every shift. You are the heartbeat of this restaurant.

Here at Ginny's and Jane Es we would like to congratulate Brian Seymore(General Store), Jason Sato and Chef Ben Sato(gRUB BBQ) on this new venture. Ben is a chef, Brian is an experienced retail and restaurant operator and Jason from Sato Realestate is continuously one of the most successful real-estate companies on the island.
We welcome back a full service breakfast restaurant to Anna Maria. Madam Mademoiselle is our only full service breakfast in our city now. Now, you have to head down to Holmes Beach to Minnies, the Toasted Mango, the new Rod and Reel, The Creperie, or the Wicked Cantena. We lost the Rod and Reel breakfast 2 years ago and many who miss the views and the good food, will welcome this restaurant back with open arms. Tammy and I miss the Rod and Reel too.
You can expect nothing but the best from these men. We for one, are excited for their return. 💕💕

Today we’re celebrating the ocean’s smallest, rarest and most endangered sea turtle, the amazing Kemp's Ridley!

🌊 Fun facts about these little turtles:

☀️ Unlike most sea turtles, Kemp’s ridleys are known for being daytime nesters, often coming ashore during daylight hours to lay their eggs.

🦀 Their favorite snack? Crabs! Kemp’s ridleys are basically the crab connoisseurs of the sea turtle world.

🌎 Most nesting occurs along the gulf coast of Mexico, but they can be found throughout the Gulf and along the Atlantic coast of the United States.

👯‍♀️ They’re famous for a nesting phenomenon called an “arribada” (Spanish for “arrival”), where thousands of females come ashore to nest at the same time.

⚠️ One of their biggest threats is ocean pollution. Plastic bags, fishing line, and marine debris can be mistaken for food or cause entanglement, putting these endangered turtles at serious risk.
