One month of Orijin 🥐🤍

A few months ago, this little corner of Liberty Street was still just a dream in the making. Then, our mornings were filled with construction dust, design planning and menu testing, and now, our mornings are filled with early baking, fresh pastries & all of you.

No. 3: The Chocolate Croissant⁠

Each begins with the same four day process as our classics, with an added layer. Croissant offcuts are blended with cocoa powder to create a delicate chocolate dough, then stretched over the laminated dough before it’s carefully cut and shaped. Inside, three batons of chocolate melt into buttery layers as they bake.⁠
⁠
The result? A golden, flaky croissant wrapped in a layer of chocolate dough, with a rich chocolate center. An expression of the same four day process, just a little more decadent. ⁠
