Hi everyone! I’m not sure how to word this, but I’m posting to say that tomorrow (September 9th) will be my last day at , at least for a while. I have really enjoyed baking for you all these past few years, but it’s time for me to change priorities a bit.

I plan to still do occasional bakes for holidays as I’ve done in the past. I’ll let you know about those through this account and through my email newsletter.

Thanks for being such supportive customers and friends!

Canelés have been giving me trouble for a few weeks, but today I made my best batch since moving to the new kitchen space .

I’m going more will turn out like this in my early morning bake for tomorrow.

I’ll also have an exciting new special: Chedder Habanero Jelly Danishes! Super cheesy, a little sweet, and just a tad spicy, these are a lot of fun! I’ll only have 30 of them, so don’t snooze!

Pistachio Cardamom Bun!

Every week, this is my most popular item at . I can’t make enough of them to keep everyone happy!

These are made with my croissant dough and a cardamom and ground pistachio filling. Then they’re braided, baked, brushed with an orange zest icing, and topped with Swedish pearl sugar!

🚨Valentine’s Day Announcement 🚨

I will be making special pastry variety boxes for you to share with a loved one (or to keep all to yourself 😉).

Each box will have five pastries. Some are classics I’ve made before and two are brand new that I love and am really excited to share with you.

The pastries are:

- Pistachio Cardamom Bun
- Chocolatine (AKA chocolate croissant)
- Lemon Rosemary Olive Oil Cake
- Canele de Bordeaux (new)
- Raspberry Snitter (new)

There will be two pickup options in the afternoon on Valentine’s Day: Ann Arbor (maybe in the farmers market parking lot?) and at my home in Belleville. Please state your preference when you order.
