Enjoying a little quiet time and sipping my coffee before I hit the ground running today.

☕️🍞 A little Daily Knead update!

Well y’all... I had to officially go back to and get a j.o.b. And apparently starting your own consulting firm does NOT mean you work less. Who knew?! 🤣

I’m incredibly thankful that work has already picked up and I’m staying busy with audits, but that also means I’m going to have to make a few adjustments.

Going forward, bake days will be scheduled instead of me baking every week. I’ll post them ahead of time so you’ll know when I’m taking orders and when pickup/delivery will be available.

I’m still figuring out how to juggle running my consulting business, regular life AND sneaking in time to bake . Please bear with me and have a little patience while I settle into this new routine and figure out what works. ❤️

The Daily Knead isn’t going anywhere! Baking is something I genuinely enjoy, and I still want to be able to provide y’all with fresh bread and sweet treats from time to time—I just have to find the right balance between the two businesses.

Thank y’all for continuing to follow along through all these changes. 🤎

☀️ Happy Saturday, y’all!

Today looks a WHOLE lot different than my Saturdays have lately. 😂 No Farmers Market, no baking marathon, no running around like crazy trying to get everything done.

Instead... I get to tackle THIS mess. 😳🤣

We have family coming to visit, which means it’s finally time to sort through everything that has somehow found its way into the guest room, figure out what needs to be stored, and make this room look like actual people can sleep in it again. 😂

Nothing motivates you to deal with the stuff you’ve been avoiding quite like “company is coming!” 🤣

Wish me luck... I may be in here awhile!

☀️ Happy Friday, y’all!!

After the way this week went, I think we need something fun today. 😂 So I have a very important question...

If somebody handed you $500 right now and told you that you HAD to spend every penny on yourself, what are you buying?! 💸💸

And before anybody gets responsible on me... NO bills, groceries or putting it in savings! You have to blow the whole $500 on something you WANT.

Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen personal circumstances, I will not be able to attend the Vendor Spotlight at The Teal Tumbleweed this Friday as planned.

I hate having to miss it, especially after looking forward to another opportunity to see everyone, but sometimes life has other plans.

After surviving my very first Farmers Market yesterday, there’s not much time to slow down because The Daily Knead is gearing up for another event this week! 🎉

Now that I've napped, eaten, and mostly recovered from today's disrespectful temps 🤣🥵 I finally went through everything and here's what we have left from market!

But first, I want to be fully transparent about the bread. With it being SO hot today, the loaves had to go in the fridge. There is some condensation in the bags from being refrigerated, so the crust may be softer than normal. The bread is still perfectly good and just as delicious!

If you want to crisp the crust back up, just pop the loaf in the oven at 350° for about 15–20 minutes. Or slice off a piece (or two 🤣) and throw it in the toaster!

Now for the leftovers! Everything is discounted! 🎉

Huge shout out to the Mesquite Mercantile for hosting the market today! I had a great time, even if the bees and temps were disrespectful 🤣

Also a huge thank you to the other vendors today that helped me with setup, weighing down my tent, and helping me pack up!!! Y'all are the best!!!
