Demeter Bread & Pastry is a small Community Supported Bakery in Orange County, CA. Our mission is to create community by bringing people together to share delicious and nutritious food that has been sourced and prepared locally and sustainably. We use 100% whole grain flour from Grist & Toll urban flour mill in Pasadena, CA. This stone-ground flour is milled from regionally-grown grains chosen for

their superior flavor and nutrition over conventional commodity crops. At the bakery, we use natural leavening, without commercial yeast, in all of our breads for a product that has more complex flavor, is easier to digest, has a longer shelf-life, and offers more nutrition for your body.
