I may have missed National Police Week, but a little extra time in my day yesterday allowed me to make it to the Amsterdam Police Department last night with some sweet and savory treats to help get our officers through their shift.

At The Mad Batter Cookiez, we're proud to support the men and women who serve our community. 🖤💙🖤

Being a police officer isn't an easy hat to wear. Every day, these men and women put on the uniform knowing they'll face challenges most of us can't imagine. While they don't always hear it, there are many in this community who appreciate their dedication, sacrifice, and service.

No matter where you stand on politics or policy, our officers deserve to know there are people who support them and are grateful for what they do.

In honor of our local law enforcement, you'll find Chocolate-on-Chocolate DOT Cakes topped with blue nonpareils on the cart today to show our support for the Thin Blue Line and the officers who serve our city every day.

Thank you, APD, for your service to Amsterdam. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're grateful for all that you do. 💙🚔

I've gotten SO many requests to bring them back...
..the problem is, I completely lost track of who asked because I was literally getting stopped in the middle of stores with:

"Wait... excuse me... are you the cookie lady?" 😂🍪

And honestly, that never gets old.

So if you're hoping to see the CLASSIC FUNfetti DOT Cake this weekend, I need you to let me know!

I'm working on getting the self-serve cart opened by Friday and would love to keep a little something available throughout the weekend.

I've been playing with the idea of extending the self-serve cart a few days into the beginning of the week. 👀

Of course, it would depend on stock, but instead of closing up after the weekend, I'd keep adding extra days until we sell out.
