For those who have expressed interest in the future of the bakery, we are accepting serious inquiries regarding the purchase of Cooper’s Bakery’s business assets.

The sale includes commercial bakery equipment, proven recipes and the benefit of an established, loyal customer base. This would give a new owner a strong foundation for operating their own bakery business at the current Amite location.

Special shoutout to Sinagra Family Dairy who has given us the pleasure of carrying their delicious milk and a tag on our post!

I’ve had a few days to reflect on Saturday. The words “Thank You” just aren’t powerful enough to express our gratitude to all who came by. We didn’t refer to you all as customers, you were friends. We would talk with our friends daily about our daily lives. Hunting and fishing trips, vacations, kids sports and day to day life. I was blessed to be let into your families, watch your kids and grandkids grow up. Allowed to celebrate adoptions, first hunting and fishing adventures, school milestones, birthdays, birth of your children and so many more. That’s what I will miss the most. So to all our “friends”, the Cooper Family (past and present) wants to say “Thank You” and we Love You to all.

Wow!!! We are so grateful for the love and support we have received!! Troy made as much product as he could physically make today and we are sold out for the day! Ya'll showed up and showed out and we feel so blessed! We closed early but will be back open tomorrow at 6:00 A.M!!

The love for the Donut Man has been absolutely overwhelming! 💛

To celebrate the sweet memories our customers are sharing with us, we’ve created both Cooper's Bakery and The Donut Man T-shirt designs, available for purchase!

A table will be set up Saturday inside the bakery with a limited supply of Cooper's Bakery t-shirts on hand and the option to order shirts if the design or size you need is not available that day. If you can’t make it Saturday but would love one, please send us a private message!

For Sale.
This is a difficult post to make, but after 43 years it’s time to make a change. Amite welcomed us way back in 1983, we quickly settled in and became part of the town. Throughout the decades we’ve had wonderful customers that have become great Friends. Kids that are now grandparents. Also have seen many changes in the town. Losing mom and dad was a tough blow and running the bakery just isn’t the same. I’ll be putting the bakery up for sale. I don’t own the building but do own all the equipment.
