The BBQ Tent will be set up this weekend at Bryant’s for the apple butter festival! I decided to share a bit of the process we use to make it. We soak it for 48 hours in a brine made with cider from Bryant’s, then it marinates in the home made rub for another 24 hours. After that it is smoked low and slow for 16 hours!!! We serve it with a slaw made from scratch that also contains apples to bring out the flavors in the pork! You have a choice of 3 different sauces made from scratch, a Carolina style, hog glaze or our signature liquid gold apple butter sauce! Toppings of homemade cowboy candy and French fried onions are also available to make it unique! Come stop by the tent and pick up a lunch box containing a sandwich, slaw, chips, homemade pickle and drink for $13!
