Did you see our commercial in the Big Game last Sunday night?

Ok... so we didn't actually spend $7 million on a TV ad, but our product was featured in the WeatherTech commercial.

Stresscon used our patented connector ties in the new WeatherTech warehouse. In line with the message of the commercial, we're proud to be an American company supporting American companies! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

In the USA, buildings consume 76% of the electricity generated and produce 40% of the national output of greenhouse gases. (source: energy.gov)

In other words, there's still a lot of work to be done to construct more energy-efficient buildings.

Our patented HK Composites connector ties are used to connect or "sandwich" a layer of insulation in between 2 layers of concrete. These panel walls are strong and energy efficient. Less energy is used to heat and cool insulated buildings, so the owner saves money on energy bills while helping lower greenhouse gases. It's a win-win situation.

No hole-in-one shot from Matt Saguibo this year, but we had a great time golfing and networking at the 2nd Annual TCA Golf Classic at BridgeMill Athletic Club a week ago.

Thanks to the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) for putting on a fun charitable event. Count us in again for next year! ⛳️

The famous lyrics "For purple mountain majesties, above the fruited plains..." were inspired by these views at the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado. And with the newly completed $66 million visitor center at the summit of Pikes Peak, sightseers and hikers can now enjoy those views themselves.

This visitor center now stands as the highest elevation precast concrete structure in the world.

The award winning facility was designed to withstand severe temperatures, strong side winds and heavy snowfall. The precast walls were insulated to provide an overall R-value of 60 with an 8.5-in.-thick insulation wythe connected with HK Composites Standard (ST) ties.

The design and construction teams faced many extreme challenges due to high altitude, harsh weather conditions and a remote construction site only accessible by a step, winding switchback road, but the project met schedule demands and the center is now open and the restaurant is serving their world-famous donuts.
