Just when I thought a cake couldn’t get better, I saw the bride and groom Calico Critter cake toppers! (The groom was in fact wearing a pink suit and glasses at the wedding. Attention to detail is my love language!)

I got to make this lovely cake for my friend Lizzie and her husband Aaron! Their wedding was stunning. Truly. After I set up her cake I took sooo many pictures of the floral arrangements at her tables and just gaped at where her ceremony took place. Everything was beautiful!

This was a chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream and ganache.

I branched out and went to an event with people I’d never met before, and I got to bring this yummmmy cake with me! I attended a cake party where all of the guests brought a cake of their choosing to share. I decided to make a cherry limeade cake!

This was a lime cake with graham cracker crust, and cherry buttercream. I added some chopped maraschino cherries in the layers for some extra cherry flavor. It was delicious! Scroll through to see the end result.

This was a lemon cake with blackberry filling and lemon buttercream for Brooke and Tyler to celebrate buying their first home! They’ll be there with a new baby boy (soon!) and their two pups so I added some small details to include them. 💛💛💛🦴🦴
