Our Gift Box & Cafe In 1979, Bob and Linda Westbrook founded The Pill Box, their own pharmacy, in downtown Amelia. We are a local family owned and operated gift shop and cafe.

Over the decades, The Pill Box evolved into the current business, Our Gift Box and Cafe, which will celebrate its 47th anniversary this September 2026. We strive to provide the best customer service to our customers. We have gifts for everyone and every occasion. In our cafe we have fresh baked cookies, hand-pies and quiche'. Fresh made to order sandwiches, and salads. We smoke all our own meat an

d use only the freshest ingredients. Come in and eat or call ahead and use our convenient pick up window.

Remember the classic **Yard Goose** sitting on porches and front steps dressed for every season? They’re back — and they have some serious Midwest nostalgia behind them!

Concrete yard geese became especially popular throughout **Ohio and the Midwest in the 1980s and ’90s**, when families began dressing their geese for holidays, changing seasons and special occasions. Before long, the dressed-up porch goose became a familiar sight in neighborhoods across Ohio.
