What is a crispy? It’s what my Grandma Tiedemann used to do with the extra pie dough. I love cinnamon and sugar a lot, so I start with a cinnamon roll. Then we roll it out nice and thin in lots and lots of sugar. Then baked to perfection so it’s nice and crispy. Perfect with your favorite latte. Coffee in one hand, strudel in the other. Yes she is a heavy one! Loaded with 54 beautiful loaves of Cinnamon Twist Bread. We take 4 pieces of our homemade cinnamon roll dough and roll them in even more cinnamon and sugar, because why not. Ever wonder how we make so many goodies and bread for our family bakery? A lot of preparation! We measure out all our dry ingredients to prep for the next morning. Some recipes, like scones, we also prep the cold ingredients so that we can mix them together quickly and get them back in cooler to rest before baking. It took Momma Joyce many years to help us develop this system. It’s such a blessing. Coffee in one hand, strudel in the other. See you soon friends❤️
