Happy Hour!🍻 🍷
Last Friday I took my monthly cookie/treat donation to Altoona’s Prairie Vista Village. They were having happy hour for the residents! How fun is that? It was clear that the residents were enjoying this social and beverage time. Thanks to Becky with the activities dept and Jennifer Larsen who nominated them for this month!

I learned that Prairie Vista serves many levels of care from independent living, assisted living, skilled care, nursing care. Their intent is to keep patients in the SAME facility through these stages of life, providing continuity of care for the residents. How wonderful is that!?

Their independent living apartments are like 3k a month with 2 meals a day- I think I’ll just MOVE IN! Sign me up! Who’s with me? 55 and up!

There’s nothing like the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning 😋

This morning I will have 3 5ct boxes of my cinnamon rolls with classic icing for $20/each. Depending on how many people pickup I will be making more!

Happy Spring!!! 🌷(Despite being in a blizzard warning 🥶)

I’m ready to come out of my hibernation and with that, I’m introducing a new idea! 💡

As many of you know I went back to my love of teaching and am a lead toddler teacher. I love my kiddos but I miss my kitchen!! 👩🏻‍🏫👩🏻‍🍳

Each week I will be baking a batch of goodies to share with all of you. Please see below my schedule so far. The plan is to post Sundays when items are ready on my porch and have them available until Wednesday, where they will be half priced. 🧁🍰🍪🍞

After May I will be doing polls to see what you guys want next!! I could not be more excited. 🥳
