Lexi is another regular I’m happy to take orders from ESPECIALLY when it’s for her daughter for the first time!! I’ve been making her boys cakes for a while now but Josie is the newest member of the family so she’s tickled pink to finally have another girl in the house💞 ‘Girls just wanna be One’ is the theme for this petite 3 layer 6” classic vanilla cake with matching bettercream. I wanted a bit more ruffle and shells for this girly cake so I piped more on top than I usually do and unfortunately for me, I love it and might have to start doing it like this more often🤣 I wanted to use ribbon bows but couldn’t find them in the mess so it was fondant to the rescue! It’s rare that I don’t have to ‘PIVOT!’ during the decorating process. I’m so grateful to have the inventory to make it possible! Thank you for coming back time and time again Lexi! Hope Josie had a Happy Birthday🎉🥳and you got some much needed rest!

Keeping with tradition, Allie(Neighbor Donna’s great grand) and Isaiah have the same birthday so I have to make her a cake too🤷🏾‍♀️ I feel like I say that a lot but I have A LOT of regulars🤦🏾‍♀️I couldn’t stop baking even if I wanted to! Anyway, Allie loves dinosaurs as much as Isaiah does so she WILL NOT say anything other than that!🤣 Her mom Thea sent me the party invite they made together and I immediately knew that would BE the cake! Since they made it on Canva I was able to edit it! AS usual, Isaiah contributed to her cake decor(whether he knows it or not😳)with a glittery Christmas ornament🤣 It’s perfect for the cake, really! Hopefully I can replace it by the time the tree goes up. I used my edible glitter ribbon for confetti spirals and space fillers on the cake and was luckily able to find other fun things to throw on top! I use the word “throw” but trust me, everything’s “thrown” with love and intention🤣 This is a 3 layer 6” classic vanilla cake with matching signature bettercream. Allie came with Thea to pick up the cake so I got to see her eyes light up which added to the already awesome day! I saw pics from the party so I know she had a Happy Birthday🥳🎉 Thanks for keeping the tradition going💜

Well, Isaiah’s 10 now and we can’t believe it🥹(This post is almost a month old 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣)We have an ever-changing list of birthday themes a few years out but he chose to switch it up on me the day before his birthday and party at school! Dinosaur bones. Specifically T-Rex🤨Tan, brown, off white. WHAT?!🤣🤣🤣 He gets what he wants but with such sort notice, I had to go with what I had and what I could find in the mess of our house! I barely got a pic of it! He asked for a cookie cake to share with his class. I used ai to make the image that turned out cute to my surprise and had 2 T-Rex skeletons left from past orders😅 to throw on there! He had a few birthday celebrations with the party at school, we went to his fav local arcade for dinner that night then his first non-family sleepover that Friday! It’s been an insane month as we relocate and try to settle in just in time for his birthday 🤣 I took a “break” from baking while we made his rooms a priority to make sure the transition was as enjoyable as possible with this being the first move he remembers🥹 Now that we’ve made it past his birthday, we can focus on the rest of the house and we can’t wait to transform it! Anyway, that’s why I’ve been so quiet but I’m getting back to BAU slowly but surely and I appreciate your patience☺️I know Isaiah had a great birthday in his new room(s)! Happy Birthday to our High Honor Roll all year long 5th grader🎉🥳

Cassie and her crew are Sweet-E’s vets so even during one of the biggest events in my family’s life, I’m making them a cake! When I say I couldn’t do this job without them, I’m SO serious! Tony is retiring from the police department and I can’t thank him enough for his service to our community💙 It’s been a while since she ordered but we ran into each other at the store! She wanted to be an easy order for me so she went simple with chocolate and vanilla cake, no filling, with my traditional classic vanilla bettercream for this 1/2 sheet cake. Normally she goes a lil crazy with her cake orders but this one was more…subtle🤣 I wanted to bake both batters in the same pan so I tried to create a parchment paper wall between them🤣 You shoulda seen me trying to pour both batters with different consistencies while also trying to hold up the wall🙄🤣at whatever o’clock in the morning! I absolutely cannot believe it worked! I printed the flag on icing sheets instead of using fondant for everything. It was supposed to be easier but with my printer lining things up weird, it seemed just as tedious🤣 Still worth it though! I did use black bettercream that’s pretty easy to eat around cuz no one wants black teeth or worse😳 Thank you for letting me make this for y’all! Happy Retirement Tony🥳🎉 Take it easy now😉

Morgan has been a client for just over a year now and ALL her family’s birthdays are in April 🤣🤣🤣including the newest member🥹 I thought it was so sweet that she wanted to surprise her hubs with a special 2 layer cookie cake(yep, I said it and I think I got it to where I’m satisfied with it!) to celebrate HIS birthday with everything going on in their extremely full life💜 Their wedding photos are something out of a magazine! I made him a collage and used his favorite color to decorate it. Between the two thinner layers of cookie cake is my fudge n crumble filling🤤It’s the whole family’s favorite. I feel like I barely remember my 20’s anymore!🤣🤣🤣 Hope you got a chance to have a Happy Birthday Zach🎉🥳 And thank you for coming back Morgan!!

Izzie’s mom Carrie is a GREAT friend of mine so when she needs a cookie cake, I gets her a cookie cake! There are just THOSE people, ya know? I love her cuz she’s so easy to work with! She sent me the pic to put on it which I recognized right away! I found a font similar to Invincible to use for her name! I’ve been mixing up my edible decorative balls with foil covered chocolate, gumballs and sixlets depending on what colors I need. Izzie’s such a wonderful young lady and I’m thrilled to make this for her! Can’t believe she’s 17! Happy Birthday 💜🎉🥳

👋🏽 I swear I’m alive! I had to crank out 11 captions this morning since I’m behind on my posting🤣 Olivia is part of the ‘neighbor Donna Family’! She’s the beautiful ray of sunshine to brighten your day with something funny and probably a little weird and I love that about her! She just got married and her mom Erin asked me to make her Brides cake! Of course I’m gonna do it🙄 When she showed me a cake with a close up pic of a glittery Edward from Twilight, I knew it was gonna be good! I chose a different picture but gave it the same effect! She got a petite smash sized 3 layer 6” confetti cake with my signature not too sweet classic vanilla bettercream in a simple Lambeth style with an extra sparkly Edward! I love how I get pics of her doing photoshoots with her cakes🤣 She takes the best photos AND also takes the best photos if you catch my drift! We have some of her art in our house and would like to get more! Congratulations and so I’m honored to be a part of your beautiful day!💜

Jayde has such a wonderful spirit, it’s a joy to be around her! Back in April she celebrated 1 whole year of continuous sobriety and I got to make her first of many Sweet-E’s treats!! She got a batch of chocolate cupcakes and I threw in some extra confetti cupcakes for a little variety! As usual, I used her coin as inspiration for the design! Also…a favorite “little one” of mine, Grace is a Swiftie like us so a special Taylor cuppie was requested for her since she would be at the event! I stuck Grace right between Reputation Taylor and Lover Taylor since those are the two eras she’s into right now🤣 Congratulations and Happy Birthday Jayde!🎉🥳 We’re all so proud of how far you’ve come! Keep comin back girl🫶🏽💜🙌🏽

Heeeeeey👋🏽 Yes, I’m still baking🤣 Thank you for the messages! Everything is wonderful! I’ve been busy with a new setup, a birthday and just getting back into the swing of things! I’ll pick up where I left off! Tori’s second order of the year is usually for her son Zander who got his first cake from me when he turned 13! Now he’s 15😫and I can’t believe it! We do a video game theme every year so far and this year it’s Roblox! This is my first…I’m pretty sure🙄🤣 although I’ve done plenty of video game themed. These ‘platform’ games as I call them have so many characters you can choose from AND create, there’s an endless combination! Back in my day, you had a single digit number of character options🤣 so with all that said, I did my favorite fondant panel style of decorating for Zander’s 2 layer 10” chocolate cake with my traditional style classic vanilla bettercream. I put a ‘glitch’ effect on the logo, found a similar font for his name and used my favorite background for the top of the cake. My kid confirmed after I put the front panel on the cake that those were the most popular characters in the game🤣😅 I made more tiny fondant accessories for this one with the Xbox controllers! So listen, Isaiah and I just got glasses and can I just tell you that I didn’t realize how much I needed them til I got them! All these years I’ve been making these dad-gum controllers, I had no idea the letters were on the buttons!!🤣I can see them with my glasses now! Omg! Anyway, my guy Zander is a stickler for the details so I try to make sure his stuff is on point and I really hope he appreciated the time I took to stuff the tiniest amount of colored fondant into those button holes🤣 Even if he didn’t notice, I know his mom and sister did and I’m good with that too😉 I really do appreciate Tori for loving EVERYTHING I make for her! I don’t know what I’d do without my regulars! Wishing you the Happiest of Birthdays Zander!!🎉🥳

The neighbor Greenberg family always has something to celebrate! Andrea is turning 40 and is apparently very particular about things! Over the years, I’ve made it onto that list of things she loves as much as the color pink, coffee, shopping, teaching and being a mom! Her mom, Diane ordered her a traditional style(super sweet) cookie cake with matching classic vanilla bettercream decorated in this years 40 & caffeinated theme! I found the CUTEST little coffee cups and mug and saucer sets to put on the cookie! Ugh😫 I love tiny stuff! Anyway, I’m forever grateful for neighbor families like these!! Hope the party went well! Welcome to the 40’s Andrea!🥳🎉
