Earlier in the month, this beauty popped open! This is just one of the 100 peonies we planted last year! Only 2 more years till these get to go on your table!
Did you know that approximately 100 MILLION cut flower peony stems are produced globally every year with China producing about 70 million of those?! Grossing over 2 billion dollars in revenue globally. In 2021 a peony stem variety named Lembrose, sold for $2,500 USD. Although most do not cost this much per stem, peonies often sell retail for about $30 per stem. But trust me, you won't be paying that much for ours.

I see you, Zinnia!
Look what is getting ready to bloom on the farm! Over 1,000 zinnias are starting to set on buds, and I am crazy excited. I also see that the sunflowers are getting ready! Well, actually, a lot is budding up, including marigolds, celosia, amaranth, basil, gladiolus, liatris, and some other mystery flowers!

Although we have finished up hanging basket season, these beauties should be headed out the door in just a few weeks!
