Happy Pi day!
Do we sometimes question what in the world we’ve gotten ourselves into? YES, we certainly do ( oh, and when I say “we” I’m almost always guilty of being the one to stir the pot 🙃)
Exhibit A - In the past 48 hours, in addition to all the regular breads and pastry, we also made:
• Seventy some pies - Strawberry Rhubarb, Chocolate Cream and two different kinds of quiche.
• Over 100 quarts of soup really good soup.
• The first batch of Hot Cross Buns of the season.
• Plus a stunning batch of marinated sheep’s feta, and a fresh batch of zhoug so bright green it almost glows.
While I might get us into what at times can feel like truly impossible situations, it’s over 20 incredible humans that get us through and make the beauty you have on your plates.

The world is feeling scary and unstable a lot of the time these days, but I maintain that finding the thing we love to do, doing it well, with love and with others, is as good a way to be as any of us can hope to find.
