Big Shout out to Almont's FIRST Robotic FLL Team "Galaxy Girls" on your Best display of team work award and being 1 of 5 team at the Armada tournament this weekend to qualify for the FLL State Championship December 15th. Way To GO Girls!!!

The Almont high school robotics team is looking for some items that you might have around the house and not using. We currently are in need of a propane BBQ grill to be used during build season for team dinners and working computers & monitors & laptops so more team members can be hands on with CAD, programming and team business. Don't forget team paperwork, dues and meal sign ups are due by October 11th. If you haven't signed up for a meal please have an adult stop in at build Tuesday or Thursday 6-9 to sign up. For those who opt to donate the money instead of providing a meal, please make us aware of this, so we can still put your name on a meal and collect funds. Thanks!

Friends and Family, the Almont Robotic team is selling Achatz Handmade Pie Company. Please take a look athttp://www.achatzpies.com/files/brochure.pdf and consider supporting these great kids. Yearly the team needs a minimum of $40,000 to compete for the season. My personal favorites are the Fresh dessert pie coupon $19 and the Frozen pot pie $20 coupon (both good at any location for 1 year). A great way to save freezer room and support us. The coupon would also make a great hostess or last minute gift. Pie delivery is November 13th, perfect for the upcoming holidays. This Thursday at all Kroger's, select $5 jumbo bags of candy are on sale for $2.50. The team could use donations for homecoming game and parade and the holiday light parade in December. Thank you 😃
