Can't believe I'm really doing this tommorow. #1291 Praying I don't fall apart, and we have a great time finishing strong. However, I think the sign is misleading. Running is a bit of an exaggeration of what will be taking place over the 13.1 miles. 🙏

The race was super close, but I did cut a minute off my last time. I was so frustrated as I watched the lady walk past me the last 25 ft. And was cursing myself for not taking my training more seriously. Competive Walking is seriously COMPETITIVE Uggg, I made some silly mistakes. I still won a prize, finished and had fun. Met some great people and heard some training tips I didn't want to hear....HILLS....

I have a Competitive Walk 5k tomorrow. I haven't trained as much as I should, so I have no idea how I'm going to do. I'm considering not wearing my AFO's because they are really heavy. Pathetic I know, but I may have a chance of doing well I just am not sure if I want to stay safe or just go crazy and try lots of totally new things since this is a new type race.
