Hello, friends!!!
I took the summer off, which has really extended beyond! My kids are keeping me so busy, I haven’t had a chance to make cookies since the end of May, but I could not resist a chance to make my own because I’m extra like that. I wish I could say this means I’m back to my regular schedule, but there are just not enough hours in the day right now. I will be back eventually, I promise! 😬😬 🤪

Happy last day of school to Allen Independent School District

Made these for an Allen HS senior who is off to Tech this fall! My Longhorn kitchen didn’t even explode. 😉 I had fun with my new toy (a Cricut ) making a few new stencils for this set! I am very much a beginner with that, though!

These were for a return customer. They have a baby boom going on at their office, so I got to create a fun baby shower set for a soon-to-be baby girl! 🌼🌸

What could be cuter than an elephant 🐘 baby shower? These are similar to another set from earlier this year, but this time a gender neutral yellow and grey.

Ahh! I am so late in posting a few sets now!

This set has pushed itself into my top 5 favorites for sure. My sweet SIL is in a Succulent Club that meets monthly and asked me to make some cookies for them. I’ll be the first to admit I know literally nothing about succulents or plants in general, so forgive me if these aren’t accurate or even actual succulents, but they were still cute and tasty. 😋

Made these for my husband’s Aunt Sue for her 75th birthday. We took 4 dozen cookies to Iowa this weekend and that was not nearly enough. Every single cookie was consumed yesterday. 😊

I am very late in posting these. From the day I made these 13 days ago, I have made 12 dozen cookies and a cake (I don’t sell cakes 😉). I will eventually get around to posting all of the different sets but that will take some time.

This colorful set was for my very own dad, literally the world’s best dad and Bampa. I enlisted the help of my 4 year old son, who became my artistic director from start to finish. He picked out the cutters we would use, helped me make the dough, roll it out, chose the colors, and told me exactly where the colors were going on 99% of the cookies. We made baseball hats, baseball gloves, home plates, and footballs because not only does my dad love all sports, he coached me growing up and literally comes to every sporting event each of his 7 grandkids has. This has turned into a full time job for my parents, coordinating who, where, and when. We also had some tools because he is a master electrician and overall handy man. My only addition was the crossword puzzles. I did leave a few blank for grandkids to write on, but forgot to leave those out. 😉
They were such a big hit, I am not sure there were many left at the end of the party. And somehow I forgot to take my normal pictures, but these will do.

Another baby shower set this week (is there something in the water? 😜), but this time woodland creatures! It’s the raccoon and deer for me. 🥰🥰🥰

This was an office baby shower to celebrate 2 new additions!

This baby shower set was inspired by the sweet song “You are my sunshine.” My friend, Alexis, gave me a color palette to work with and then let my imagination run wild. I had what I call creativity ADD when it came to this set. I had a zillion different ideas and it’s hard to execute all of those ideas in 48 cookies and try to keep them a cohesive set, but this is what I came up with and I may be a little bit obsessed. 🌈☀️🌤️

My kids started Spring Break today and these spring colors definitely help me to feel like spring is finally here. It was only a little ironic that a huge severe storm was rolling towards North Texas as I finished up this set on Thursday. ⛈️💨🌪️

This is the other set I am very late in posting. These were for a bridal shower a few weeks ago with a theme.

It was so fun to reconnect with this client, who is the mom of one of my very dearest friends from childhood. To know the Strathmeyer family is to love them. They are some of the sweetest people that ever walked this earth. Thank you so much, Patty. I was so honored to do these for you! 😘🥰

I have a couple sets to post this week, both of which I am extremely late in posting.
First up, my friend and childhood teammate from volleyball and softball asked me to create some cookies for the company she represents. They have a very unique, niche business making furniture for behavioral health centers and I jumped at the chance to help her! She was able to share these cookies with some of the executives and said they all loved them! 😊😊

And that’s a wrap on Christmas orders for this year!

From December 1 through December 23, I made over 500 cookies! Of those, 170 were given as teacher gifts, tech gifts, taken to Christmas parties, or sent to family. 😊
I know some cookiers who probably did even more, but this felt like an accomplishment. And also a good reason why I was so behind on everything else. 😂😭

Now, to turn up the Christmas magic for my own family! First up, decorating a homemade gingerbread house!
