One minute you’re printing shipping labels feeling productive… the next you’re leaning against a wall questioning every life decision. 😂

The small business life is definitely not for the weak, but luckily there was time to re-do the order and get it to the customer in time.

Today would have been my grandmother Lucille’s 96th birthday, and not a day goes by that I don’t feel her presence in the work I do. Lucille was the definition of strength and kindness—qualities she carried with grace even through life’s hardest seasons. It’s those very qualities that inspire Lucille & Grace, the bakery I built in her honor, and every recipe, batch, and package that leaves our kitchen carries a piece of her legacy.

Through this business, I have the privilege of sharing her love with customers in over 30 states, allowing her story to reach places she never had the chance to visit herself. What began as her warmth in our family kitchen has now grown into a connection that touches people far and wide. Today, I celebrate not just her life, but the enduring impact she continues to have—proof that love, resilience, and legacy can live on in every cookie and cake jar we share.
