Well, we closed the Bake Shop today, Friday, very sad! :( We had one of the BEST days in a long time (record setting!!!) You could say we came into Alfred with a BIG BANG and we out with a BIG BANG!! It was very hard for me to close because I love what I do and love to serve people and make them happy knowing we always made great food for them. Mary and I will miss that the most!! If we only made
1/4 a day of what me made today, we would not be going anywhere! I just know everyone is having it hard these days, moneys tight and some people have lost their jobs! Everyone that came in said it was not your food, just everything going on around us (economy!!) your food was the best around they said, which made me feel a whole lot better. Mary and I would really like to thank " ALL" our customer that supported us through good time and hard times, Thanks!! If I ever decide to do this again, the big word will be spreading like wild fire, Bob's Bake Shop is Reopening in a area near you!!
