Finally, some actual football weather!

I’ve met so many wonderdul people through cookies. Sara is just the sweetest. It was an honor to make her logo into a 3d cookie. After taking some time off, coming back to florals caused some major hand cramps. 😂

My thoughts and prayers are with my daughter and SIL and all those living near the gulf coast. Hopefully this hurricane whose name I can’t pronounce 😂 doesn’t cause much damage. And in case you’re wondering, yes, the Alabama Georgia game is still scheduled.

Took the week off to celebrate our 36th anniversary so no cookies to post. Had a great time in Italy and Munich for Octoberfest. (So glad we visited in our 50’s and not 20’s-I would have been a hot mess 😂)

Celebrating birthday number 5, Hadley requested Bluey cookies and pink. I love adding pink to any set! Happy Birthday Hadley.

Bridal Shower cookies are so fun, especially when you have cowgirl boots! Inspired by the invitation and CowtownCookies.

Not cookie related but too funny not to share. What is the most Fort Worth thing you have seen? This is it for me. The elevator door opened to my daughter’s complex and this is what I saw, two saddles. I’m don’t know much about riding but these look pretty nice to me. I hope the rightful owner found them. 😁

Happy Friday!

And here it is, my first ever dye free set. My customer was dream with being my first and being so gracious with knowing I was a novice with this new product. There is so much science involved with all naturals and it’s behavior, the stress was real. Natural dyes require more product and time to develop than synthetics. I probably could have backed off the coloring a bit but I was trying to get the vivid colors of the 90’s themed invitation. All that aside I loved making all the 90’s images, I was smiling the entire time. Happy Birthday Addison!

This may look like a bowl of icing but it’s really a bowl of stress. 🤣 My first attempt at dye free icing. Stay tuned for the finished product.
