Only got to share this in story, but I want to post this derby tiger cake I did last year! Even though I’m not Korean, I am so proud of the success this cultural art piece continues to have all over the world. Growing up Asian American in late 90s-early 2000s there weren’t good/ accurate media representation at all, so unfortunately I experienced much racism & xenophobia (it’s ok πŸ™‚ I’ve gotten more proud from it) …so to be in this decade where aapi community is thriving & celebrated πŸ₯ΉπŸ’žπŸ’›

I know it feels contradictory to post such a bright and fairytale like cake today- but I just want to let you all know that I’m ever so grateful for this community πŸ’— thank you for letting this Hong Kong immigrant share her art & passion. Thank you for always making me feel seen, safe & supported. I promise to always do the same for you πŸ’—
Yesterday I got some updates on the new space- good news is the building construction is finally finish, however to make it food processing certified, there is still more work to be done. In the mean time, I’m still here to make cakes for you whenever you need. Production is just limited, and I apologize if I don’t get back fast enough to email- please bare with me since it’s just me doing it all right now :)
