We’ll have Peanut Butter Brownies (a Halloween necessity), Bizcochitos, with anise & orange blossom to honor the dead for Dia De Los Mu***os, tamales compuestos, smothered in red chile and served with a runny egg. Come light a candle on our offenda, or paint a skull on Sunday!

And we’re here. The part of Summer that just drags. It keeps going. It’s hot, a little humid, the days feel long and heavy, and I’m tired. I become unreasonable, cranky, angry, but also reflective, maybe sensual, but definitely impatient. Here’s our end of Summer menu, some favorites, some new stuff, some revised.
