Last Sunday we said goodbye to our beautiful dog, Romeo. He was apart of our lives for so many years and he will be truly missed. I want to say thank you to the staff at Route 66 Veterinary Emergency for the love and care they provided during what was a very emotional time. Thank you to everyone who reached out to us. Please keep my daughters in your prayers, especially my oldest Bria who was his main caregiver in his final days. She made me so proud. Praying you all have an amazing day. Q

This was the first year I didn’t do king cakes. The news contacted me about doing a segment this morning. Of course I was excited and flattered, but the more I thought about it, the more anxious I became. I remembered how much work it takes and although the money and exposure is always great, I’m moving different in all areas of my life. Peace and peace of mind are priceless. So I politely declined, put my phone on DND, turned off my alarms and slept in today. I’m gonna find some local places to support today and prepare myself for this 100 day journey I’ve been moved to start. I had some hiccups getting started but all of the pieces are in place now. Thank you to everyone who reached out and supported me in the past. Keep watching for other things I want to do in order to give back and be more of a blessing during these trying and stressful times. Q
