Little Sparrow Cookie Co. Delicious, hand-decorated sugar cookies made to order. Cookies are great for any occasion: parties, Cookies are delivered in a bakery box. I also offer cupcakes!

I am accepting orders local to Rio Rancho and Albuquerque, NM as well as shipping orders in the US! All orders are made fresh to order, I do not make my cookies in advance. Each cookie is individually decorated by hand so the designs can vary slightly. My current delicious cookie flavors are:

My current prices begin at $36/dozen with a minimum ord

🎓Congrats to the Class of 2025 🎓
My son recently graduated High School! Incredibly proud of this guy because he’s also one of my biggest encouragers. I started this cookie journey because of him… when he entered preschool and I became a stay at home mom I was looking for something new and creative I stumbled upon cookie decorating and it changed my life. But it all points back to this guy.
We had a small graduation party for him. My husband cooked way too much food and I baked way too many sweets. Lemon cupcakes, peanut butter cookies, brown butter oatmeal cookies, s’mores cookies (my new favorite) and managed to make some grad themed sugar cookies. No pics were taken in the whirlwind of getting everything together and these were some of the last few.

Just wanted to share some signs of life over here. Currently, still not taking orders due to my health and the busy life of having kids with full schedules, but loving the occasional opportunities I have to make cookies for some sweet friends.

Currently reminding myself that I remember how to do this. That progress over perfection needs to play on repeat in my head. That I need to practice to get the muscle memory back of making cookies, practice to improve because I’m not where I was or where I want to be. Just fighting some self-doubt while I am working to get back in the game.

Hey! 🙋🏽‍♀️
It’s been a while! Little life updates: we had a baby and he’s now 2 1/2! Our 3 older boys are now cruising through middle school and oldest is in his senior year of high school.
In 2022 we moved to Nebraska, in 2023 we moved back to NM and a few months ago we moved again (still in NM) and I’m over it 😅. I think we won’t be moving again for a while.
Happy to be in a home that gives me space to be creative with cookies again! I’m in the process of stocking up on supplies and reminding myself that I can do this! Not sure when I will be back up to taking orders but it is a goal! I am thankful to have you on this journey with me. I appreciate the friendship and encouragement. 🖤

Things have been quiet over here for a long while. Pregnancy and then baby days have taken a lot of time and energy (plus my older kids busy schedules) which made taking cookie orders difficult.
Now, we have another Big Life change… WE MOVED! We recently packed up our family of 6 and said goodbye to NM and hello to Nebraska!
It’s been a HUGE change but we are excited for all new things ahead. I am always hoping to get back to baking and decorating just unsure of when that will be.
Thanks again NM for all the love and including me in the milestones, events and special moments. You have brought me so much joy in this cookie journey.

It’s been a while since there’s been anything going on over here and I’ve been pretty quiet. Pregnancy, labor and postpartum had been pretty hard on me due to fibromyalgia and chronic illness but I feel like we are rounding the corner to better days!
I wanted to share with you the newest Cookie Thief to the Merritt fam.
Cade Alexander was born on January 14. He is the sweetest babe and biggest blessing.
My sweet pals sent us some cookies (which are the best snack for late night feeding sessions)! Thank you Amy and Lydia ❤️
I am unsure when I will be getting back to baking but have missed it so much! Hopefully by spring/summer we will be in a rhythm to pull out the cookie cutters again.
